Role Objective:
To manage end-to-end education counselling for cybersecurity courses by engaging with prospective students through cold calls, inbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries; guiding them on cybersecurity career opportunities; understanding their background and interests; and recommending suitable cybersecurity programs offered by the academy.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Student Counselling & Communication
- Make outbound cold calls and handle inbound calls from prospective students
- Respond to inquiries received via phone, email, and walk-ins in a professional manner
- Counsel students on cybersecurity career opportunities and industry demand
- Understand the student’s educational background, interests, and career goals
- Recommend appropriate cybersecurity courses based on suitability and interest
2) Admissions Support
- Guide students through the admission process, including course selection, registration, and onboarding
- Address queries related to course structure, curriculum, certification, and career outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups
3) Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to counsel, guide, and motivate students
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling inbound inquiries
- Goal-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Basic technical understanding and willingness to learn about cybersecurity programs
